There are many challenges with uprooting a family of 5 and drastically changing the way we live. This YWAM base where we will be living is a hotel, so we will be moving from a beautiful 3 bedroom home to 2 hotel rooms joined together with a door; kind of fun, actually. Of course, raising funds is the hardest and most challenging of it all. In YWAM we hold to a set of values which are guiding princi-ples which determine who we are, how we live, and how we make decisions. One of these values is to PRACTICE DEPENDENCE ON GOD FOR FINANCES. YWAM is called to practice a life of dependence upon God for financial provision. For individuals and YWAM corporately this comes primarily through His people. As God and others have been generous towards us, so we desire to be generous. YWAMers give themselves, their time and talents to God through the mission with no expectations of remuneration.
We go into this season of trusting God at a greater level, because He asks us to do our part. Our part is letting people know our needs and pray that God will assemble our financial and, just as important, prayer teams.
Thank you for your prayers as we prepare for this transition back into this new phase of our lives in mission with God.
